Lisa Sellon
Vice President, Finance,
First American Residential Group
Sellon joined First American Residential Group in August 2005 as Vice President, Finance. In her role, Sellon is responsible for overseeing and implementing the division’s financial and strategic analysis, including mergers and acquisitions, finance and accounting and all related reporting, ongoing forecasting and internal controls.
Prior to joining First American, Sellon served as Vice President, Finance with Colony Capital, LLC, one of the world’s largest real estate-based private equity firms. During her year tenure with the company, Sellon was responsible for investment analysis, bank-related funding and oversight of tax.
Sellon also held various finance, IT and treasury positions during a 16-year term with Cendant Corporation. Her roles included Senior Vice President of Treasury for the Timeshare Resort Group, Director of Securitization for Corporate Treasury, Director of Operations Accounting for Cendant Mobility, Director of Finance for Coldwell Banker Relocation and Manager of Finance for the Residential Real Estate Group. In her last role as Sr. Vice President for Cendant Timeshare Resort Group, Sellon directed treasury operations and funding activities supporting a $2.0 billion receivables portfolio, including execution of ongoing 144A term securitization transactions.
Throughout her career, Sellon has led the integration of new acquisitions, best practice studies resulting in cost savings, and also successfully managed implementation of IT projects including financial systems and investor reporting for funding vehicles.
Ms. Sellon holds a B.A. degree in Economics from University of California at Irvine, and a M.B.A. in Finance and Accounting from the Claremont Graduate University, Peter Drucker Management Center. Ms. Sellon also passed the Uniform CPA examination in 1999.
